ABOUT US

Christmas Lunch On Jesus started as an initiative of the Jesus House Church in Barnet in 2007. Since 2007 Christmas Lunch on Jesus (CLOJ) have delivered over 20 000 hampers across three Boroughs in North London.

The dream for Christmas Lunch On Jesus in South West started seven years ago when Ioannis and Cheray Dekas (Leaders of the Doxa Deo Community Church) heard that people in their local area were sitting down to fish fingers and crackers for their Christmas dinner. The leadership team of the Doxa Deo church approached Jesus House and a conversation to franchise Christmas Lunch On Jesus to Merton was started.

The CLOJ project in Merton officially started in 2012. In the first year Christmas Lunch On Jesus, in collaboration with Doxa Deo and the Merton Council,  distributed 290 hampers to needy families in Merton. Since then, that number was raised to more than 600 hampers every year.

More than 10 000 hampers have been distributed to needy families across multiple London Boroughs in the last 10 years.

In 2022, 1100 hampers were distributed across 10 London boroughs.

Christmas lunch on Jesus is a seasonal initiative to deliver quality food hampers to individuals, families and homes in communities across the UK who would otherwise face a difficult or lonely Christmas. We are running the initiative in Merton.

Volunteering is the lifeblood of the CLOJ initiative to provide Festive food hampers for people in need this Christmas. You may choose to help out in one or more of the various roles available.

You can make a difference in the lives of people this Christmas. You can choose to sponsor one hamper for one family, or you can sponsor multiple hampers.
